Hyperbarics is still our primary focus however we have added other modes of healing including NanoVi oxidative stress repair devices, infrared saunas and Kangen alkaline water.

This two-part series tells the true stories of combat veterans, and the true story of how HBOT heals brains and restores lives. Studies have shown that children with Autism may have decreased blood flow through the brain, and more specifically, the sides of the brain. This can be shown on a SPECT scan (a very special CT scan). Less blood flow through the brain can be equated with decreased oxygen flowing through the brain as well, since one of the major roles of blood flow is to deliver oxygen to tissues. By increasing the amount of oxygen carried by the blood stream (more specifically, the plasma), the greater opportunity for oxygen deprived tissue to receive more oxygen.

Cerebral Palsy (CP) affects 1 in 303 children in the U.S. (8,000 new cases every year) making it the most devastating motor disability in childhood. This tragic disorder affects movement, posture and other motor skills and may result in the need for life-long care. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been shown, in some studies, to ameliorate the effects of CP. Many forms of Cerebral Palsy result from a lack of oxygen to the brain. The affected brain tissue, or penumbra, can be recovered or improved by introducing increased levels of oxygen. HBOT has been shown to be a promising treatment with multiple studies reporting improvements with its application. Studies have demonstrated the benefits of HBOT for OP with the following:

Non-healing Wound

Lester Schuldt had a non-healing wound on his leg for a couple of years. The only option was he was given by medical doctors was to amputate his leg. After coming to Midwest Mild Hyperbarics and participating in a series of mild hyperbaric treatments, the wound healed up (completely) in a matter of two months although improvement was evident after only a few treatments...
